Editorial do Yedioth de hoje:
"It is astounding to discover again and again, in the era of the Arrow and Shihab missiles which can hit with precision from a distance of thousands of km, that there is still no answer to the relatively primitive pipe known as Qassam.
Israel spends billions [...] in order to protect the State with the best of the sophisticated equipment, and behold, it doesn't have a suitable answer to the rockets [...]. How can this be? But there isn't. Just like there isn't an answer to the suicide terrorist and to the car bombs in Bagdad.
This is precisely the problem in the combating of terror: the more primitive the terror means, so is it more difficult to harm them. Therefore terror is the successful weaponry of the weak.
Those demanding to "erase Gaza", to devastate neighborhoods, to fire artillery at houses, it should be said: We've already tried everything."
